Greg tendered works for an extension project to our home. His quotation was not the cheapest on first inspection, but was the most complete, and showed an understanding of the scale of the project missing from the competitor's quotations. Being in the commercial building trade, I took the time to level the quotations, and once comparing a like for like offer, Greg was very competitive.  

We met Greg prior to starting works to finally agree the scope of works. Once instructed, Greg issued a clear stage payment plan, based on milestones of the build.

Work began on 3rd January 2018. within just a few weeks, brickwork was at first floor level, and it was necessary to open up the back of the house. Greg tried to keep us as warm as was possible, building and adapting a temporary partition wall inside the house as required.

I don't think anyone had expected the "beast from the East" though. despite some truly gruesome weather, Greg and his team worked through, missing just two days in the whole build due to torrential rain, and snow.

The build went as well as we could have ever hoped. Greg organised some really good trades, in particular the plasterer was superb. Works completed on schedule at the end of April, build time was 14 weeks. Most importantly, there were hardly any extra's, just 2.5% of the agreed fee, and all items were for requested additional works.

The neighbours were all complimentary regarding Gregs efforts to keep disruption and mess to a minimum, with good relations maintained on all sides. Communication was good at all stages of the project.

I cannot recommend Greg highly enough. Living through building works is a stressful time; having a considerate and competent contractor on board makes life a lot more bearable.

Very happy with result and its brought new life into the garden. 

Also being an all round top bloke made the whole process a pleasure! Highly recommend.
